FINAREF
Finaref,
a subsidiary of the PPR Group (FNAC, La Redoute,
Pinault, Printemps, etc.) uses VIRTEL for several
applications. For example, Finaref uses VIR-E115
to integrate the access to France Télécom directories
with CICS transactions that verify and complete the
address of a new client. Finaref also uses
SYNAPSE BdF, VIRLINK, VIRTEL IC to automate exchanges
with its applications and add new ways for connecting
to its applications. |

PSA
Le PSA Group uses VIRTEL Web-to-Host to allow its global partners and collaborators' network to connect to a central data system using workstations equipped with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Using a light client (no applets or plug-ins) allows deploying solutions instantly, cutting down maintenance requirements, and keeping costs under control.
PSA also combines VIRTEL's Minitel and Web-to-Host modules to offer access to its used-vehicle warranty database from Web browsers, 3270s or Minitels. This application was developed with a single CICS COBOL source code that takes appropriate screen backgrounds from VIRTEL.
PSA uses VIRTEL Incoming Calls for Minitel-access of Videotex/3270 transactions.
CREDIPAR, a financial subsidiary of PSA, uses VIRTEL Incoming Calls and VIRTEL Outgoing Calls Videotex and SYNAPSE Banque de France. |

FRANFINANCE
Franfinance, a subsidiary of the Société Générale, uses VIRTEL for videotex incoming and outgoing calls. Usage has been extended to VIRKIX for support of the ATM/ACD system and RCB flows (the bank card network) with CICS applications and with VIR-CSA for support of ISO8583, CB2A, CBSA and CBPR protocols in managing payment authorization under CICS. |

MERCEDEZ-BENZ
Daimler Benz Financement has integrated Banque de France services (FIBORD, FCC) in its professional applications through VIRNT and SYNAPSE, with other Videotex servers being accessed by PLETOR. |

RCI Banque
Renault Crédit International, a subsidiary of the Groupe Renault, has used VIRTEL since 1996 for incoming Minitel calls to CICS/Videotex applications, outgoing Videotex calls from 3270 emulators or an IE5 Web browser, and SYNAPSE access processing between CICS and external servers (Banque de France and other servers with valued added financial data). |
